Home Sharing works to share content between two computers on the same local network. Unless you work from home I assume your work PC is at another location. Apple Music would let you share music and playlists between the two libraries.

Hello, MemphisSue.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you'd like to use Home Sharing to share a playlist between your personal PC and your work PC.

Are both computers authorized in iTunes? Authorize your computer in iTunes - Apple Support

Are you signed in with the same Apple ID on both computers and are they connected to the same Wi-Fi network?

Is Home Sharing enabled on both computers? To check, go to File > Home Sharing > Turn on Home Sharing.

I hope this helps! Take care.
