How to put a Mac screenshot into Photos for Mac

Really a hassle trying your version. It is simpler in Preview to choose "Share" and add it to "Photos"...or wherever you want to put it.

It's very easy:

1 - save the screenshot to the Desktop.

2 - drag the screenshot file onto the Photos icon in the Dock.

That's it.
