BMW idrive steering wheel ispeech command button

After updating to 13.2 i cannot use the steering ispeech button to summon siri, you can hear the ring that activates siri but before i can say a command it shuts out of it. it worked previously before the new update. has anyone else run into this issue and did you find a fix?
