Airpods Pro keep falling out of my ears!

I just got Airpods Pro and they will not stay in my ears for more than a minute or so. I feel them start creeping and I know I have only a second or two before they seem to jump out of my ear as if they were being repelled or something. I have tried every size tip and they all do the same thing. I never had any problems with my old Airpods so this is strange to me. If I don't find a fix I'm going to have to return them as they are basically unusable. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

Hello,

Are you sure that they are pushed all of the way into your ears? Do they pass the "Ear Tip Fit Test?" See this:

Choose the size of your AirPods Pro ear tips for the best sound - Apple Support

Otherwise, you generally have 14 days to return them.

Good luck.

I purchased a 14Quad iMacPro 2 years ago. The air pods were free. BIG MISTAKE !! They have never fit and I haven't been using them. I finally did some research and WALAAA They sent me the cheapo's. The case was introduced in 2017. AND.....the Air Pods are 2nd generation introduced in 2019 - NO changing tips.

I wish I had checked this long ago. I spent over $6,000 on my iMacPro (which I love), but they could have given me more current Air Pods and charger. I would have paid for the upgrade if I had had a choice.

I hope this response will be useful for everyone experiencing this issue with the airpods not staying firmly inside ear canals. First, I purchased the first generation Pro model about a year after they were released thinking it was the same/similar type of fit as the first generation Airpods. After starting to use them, they started to slip outside my ear canal. I couldn’t wash my car, run, or even tilt my head because they would slip right off. I tried all three sizes hoping it was the silicone tips but no success. Then the 14 day return window expired so I decided to try to “adapt” to these countless times with the ear tip test, speaking to AppleCare support, even researching online several hours how others are able to use them without issue. These mainly sat on my desk or used when traveling but it was constant readjusting them and it was quite a hassle. So today, I decided to research how silicon interacts with our skin. Voila, the answer was as simple as it was to understand how Apple designed them. In order for the silicon tips to stay firmly inside the ear canal, it must be “dry”. In other words, the area for each individuals ear canal must be “clear” of any ear wax in order for the tips to be seated properly. And it made perfect sense, the small layer of ear wax in my ear canal was the reason they would not stay seated. So very gently, I used a few more at home solutions to remove the minor amount of residual wax in each ear canal. These Airpods remain snug, I can hear the excellent audio quality everyone raves about, and finally finally I can move tilt my head, etc. They work. Thank goodness. It is absolutely critical the silicon be seated inside your ear canals dry to make proper contact. Please be prudent if you or others try this solution because you don’t want to injure your ear canals or worse. Once your ear canals are dry, test each silicon tip size, follow Apple’s recommendations support articles, and it should go well. I have a few years of catching up/listening with these airpods because I really wanted these to work. Cheers and best of luck.

I f*%<ing hate my air pod pros 2nd gen, have literally tried everything but they fall out constantly, had to buy a tether so if they do they’re still around my neck otherwise they would have been lost a long time ago. They sounds ok when they’re in but constantly constantly creep out no matter what i do, what a waste, bought some others for $20 that wrap around my ears and use those more than the apple ones cause they stay put
