airpods not pairing

My airpods are not pairing with my phone. I've only had them 2 months. The first month the right one stopped working so I sent it in and got a replacement. I had it back about a week when the left went out. I just picked up the left and now they will not sync with my phone. We have reset them and restarted the phone. What else?
