Sign out of my iPhone

When I go to sign out of my Apple ID, I get a drop-down banner which asks me to enter my Apple password to turn off “find my phone”!

As I don’t want to turn off “find my phone”, I was thinking this was a glitch, so I shut down my phone thinking this would fix the problem.

The problem still remains, does anyone have an answer for me.

Thanks

If you sign out of your phone you also sign out of all services associated with your Apple Id. Find my iPhone is one of these services.

If you wish to keep using that service you do not sigh out of your phone

What do you wish to achieve by signing out of your phone?

Hi Lurkums, you are AWESOME!

Thank you so much for your reply.

I have never signed out of my iPhone before, but for some reason I scrolled to the bottom and saw the sign out option and that’s where my problem began.

I lost all my saved iCloud Keychain passwords.

thanks again for your prompt and helpful reply. 👍
