Can you really make an iPhone a dumb phone? I need to temporarily make my iPhone 8Plus a call/text/email only phone with NO access to the internet. Is this really possible?

I need to clarify. I need to make the iPhone call/text only so that the user, my teen, can no longer use it for anything but calls and texting and is locked out of all other functions.
