I'm trying to unlock my old ipod. I dont use the email associated with it anymore, so I tried resetting my account password that way by going into that email address. I reset password but can't unlock ipod because it needs original password from account because it is locked under the find my iphone/ipod thing. What do I do? I'm just trying to restore factory settings so I can sell it since I dont use it anymore. Thanks. Not sure what generation it is either

if you are the original owner, take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.
