How to remove ads from Youtube on iPad

Hello,

I have a question regarding ads on Youtube when using an iPad.

When I use a macbook pro I use an adblock extension on Firefox and it does the job to remove the ads very well.

However I do not know how to get the same result when using an iPad.

On the iPad, the ads would show up in Youtube whether i'm using the Youtube app or watching Youtube in a web browser (usually either FireFox or Safari).

Does anyone have an efficient method or application to get rid of these annoying Youtube ads on iPad?
