Refund Apple Music Subscription
I accidentally confirmed the subscription on Apple Music and I’m having a hard time trying to cancel it

Manage your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support -"Learn how to change from an Individual membership to a Family membership, turn off automatic renewal, or join Apple Music later." - Stopping the auto-renewal of a subscription only does that, it does not immediately stop the subscription (with the exception of free trials) which will run until the end of the period and then not renew.
