iTunes broken?

Is iTunes broken, see below screen shot? For some reason and not doing anything, I opened my then version of iTunes. I uninstalled it, Installed it from Microsoft Store. Uninstalled that version. Then installed it from Apple.com. The same result in all cases?

Has anyone seen anything like this. I searched for solutions but found nothing with the problem shown by screen shot below?

Make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. It may help to run iTunes in compatibility mode for say Windows 7. Otherwise read on...

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. When reinstalling right click on the downloaded setup file and use run as administrator. It may also help to temporarily disable any non-Microsoft anti-virus.

Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, or want to revert to an older version if the current one won't work properly for you at the moment. Links to the most recent builds are now at the bottom of the page.

Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

One of your recommendation notes to "For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. " This is where I started and downloaded the new version of Windows. It took forever to download and install (time may be just my computer, it is a bit slow. As it happens a new version was just released only hours before I did this.

Interestingly, that is all I did. Then I started iTunes and wow it started up correctly. I attached my iPhone and it recognised it and showed that a new Apple IPhone update was available. I am at this point updating the iPhone and then should be able to backup my iPhone which was my desired outcome to start with.

Thank you for your help. I am glad I didn't have to go thru any of the other steps.
