reddit videos no longer airplay on appletv

Until a few weeks ago I was able to play reddit streams on my appletv 4K box using airplay icon on the videos. Now when I try all I get is the audio and a very small white box appears in the upper right hand corner of the appletv screen. Screen mirror works fine but than that restricts what else I want to be doing with my iPad or iPhone. iPad is 13.2.3 TVOS is 13.2. I have reported issue to Apple support a few weeks back
