Yesterday upgraded iPhone SE to iOS 13.2.3 - today battery is useless. From 90% to 3% in the morning lost in 2 hours while it was not used at all. Later charged it to 77% and lost in 50 minutes 40% of charge. At least it charges back faster than before but it doesn't help. Can't leave home/office without power bank today. Just yesterday I could charge it full in the morning and it was ~15% left when came home 12 hours later.

The battery drain has gone from bad to worse on my iPhone 6S ever since iOS 13.1.2 was introduced. With iOS 13.2.3 the battery has drained from 100% to 1% in 2 hours without the phone being used at all. If I turn off the phone when the battery is at 100% and then turn it back on, the phone will flash the low battery warning and then go dead. Once I plug it into an electrical outlet, the phone will show that it is charged 100%. The same thing happens if I reboot by pressing the home and power buttons simultaneously. These iOS updates are destroying the battery. It was at 96% capacity when the problems started. In one day it dropped to 95% and then a couple hours later to 94%. I have gone to the Apple store and called telephone support. The employees act like I am the only one with battery issues. The employee at the Apple store told me to recalibrate the battery by letting it discharge completely before recharging. If that didn’t work, then restore the phone. If that didn’t work, then buy a new battery. If that didn’t work, then buy a new phone. Seriously? Is this the advice Apple is training its employees to give?
And on it goes , I check my battery usage a lot now to try and work out what’s causing drain but nothing makes sense it says 68% used doing back up last night at 9pm but Back up says it took place at 7am this morning 🤷♀️ And it says played music for 11m in background 12am-1am , dude I was asleep 😴 I haven’t played music on my phone for weeks because of battery drain I turned off all things music, is my phone tethered to someone else in another hemisphere 😆 I’m even thinking about android , can’t believe I said that out loud , but Apple old advice for you , it’s harder to get back customers you lost than it is to look after the ones you have , just saying.
My iPhone 7 shut down on Monday with a 26% battery. I made a factory reset that has worsened things. I’m so not happy with my first iPhone... I’ll wait till the next month for a miraculous update to solve the problem. Once it hasn’t happened, I’ll take the road back to android.
My wife was doing fine with her year old 6s until she set the Automatically update switch and iOS updated to 13.3. Now she went to bed with 90% battery and woke up to an 1% battery, i had already fallen into the same pit, my sone is fine with his iPhone because I warned him about not updating as well. Losing confidence with Apple to fix or explain this problem. Now have to carry a power bank as well as phone. So much for thin.
Same here on iPhone 6s. I had no issues until this update and now my phone is no longer a “mobile” as untethered it loses all power in a couple of hours.
i was listening to offline music using Apple Music app with my AirPods 2. The overheating and dip in battery is so obvious. I have to shut the phone down twice during the day.
I have same problem with my XS MAX, battery is draining very fast and phone is overheating. I reseted my phone 3 times now...
Gee, I was hoping my battery life on my Xr would improve with 13.2.3.
Yes my wife is having the very same issue. Rapid battery drain on iPhone SE after updating to iOS 13.2.3. It’s horrible. What can I do to help her with this??
I have an iPhone 7 and I’m still experiencing this issue I’m basically glued to a charger all the time. Seriously disappointing at this point. Should have been fixed by now

Maybe get a new phone the SE is a little outdated, the iPhone 11 is very superior when it comes to battery life just a heads up.👍🏾
I have the same issue , My phone (6S+) is hot as **** while charging and only using wifi for updating apps ,and it always showing termometer temperature every 5 minutes because the overheating.
