Fan running constantly

My MacBook Air is running the fan 24/7. I did the steps to try and reset the SMC but it is still running the fan. How do I get it to stop?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Sometimes SMC needs to be done twice, try again and if the charger is plugged in unplug it first
