Questions about using protector for an ipad pro (3rd gen)

Does an ipad pro (3rd gen) need a screen protector? I am planning to buy one but i dont know if i should also get a screen protector to protect from scratches and drops, i heard that screen protectors that are too thick can affect apple pencil and i am buying an ipad pro 3rd gen just for drawing

Hello,

I have been using an iPad since 2010 and I have never needed a screen protector. iPad's glass usually is durable enough for the average user. It is true, screen protectors can interfere with Apple Pencil.
