New SIM card problem

Hi, Yesterday I had to change my SIM card in my iPhone 7 iOS 13.1.3. My provider then transferred my original number to the new sim, however now iMessages and FaceTime are only recognising the new SIM cards original number? Any ideas or help would be gratefully appreciated

Make sure the original number is listed on your Apple ID. If you have to change what shows on your Apple ID, after making the change, allow time for the change to sync. Sign out of Messages/FaceTime, restart your phone, and sign into Messages/FaceTime.
