Does the Apple TV automatically use the ethernet connection?
When I first set up my Apple TV 4K, it asked for a wifi connection but I had to install the ethernet cable. Which does it default to?

If it's connected to the router with an ethernet cable then it will automatically disable wifi for contents streamed directly. If using airplay from another device then it will be able to still see the Apple TV and stream media over wifi for that purpose
