Bluetooth issue with iPhone 11 Pro with BMW 325i 2011

I have got a new iPhone 11 Pro and when I try to connect the phone to my BMW 325i car blue tooth, the voice calls are getting scratchy and distorted.

Anyone had this issue while pairing with car bluetooth on iphone 11 pro ?

I have raised this issue with Apple and they have taken the logs, waiting for them to respond.

I have updated the sofware in the car also. No issues with all my previous iphones. Wanted to know anyone had the same issue and got any workarounds.

To be honest, I've seen nothing but troubles with the newer iPhones connecting with BMW vehicles. Seems there is a problem with the BMW software, and it needs to be updated. Some users have stated they have gotten an update for their vehicles and it has straightened out their issues. I would make a trip to the local BMW dealer and ask about the update, unless you feel confident in going to the BMW site and seeing about downloading it yourself.

Apple has given me a replacement phone and fortunately it is working much much better.

Sometime the voice gets a bit scratchy though.. only 2%

Thanks Chris,...

I did the update by downloading the latest version available for my car VIN number from BMW website and the first call looked ok. But after that it seems the same issue.

Strange part is I tried with my friends phone(new iPhone 11 pro) and that looked alright in my car.

My phone works well with the other cars.

I am guessing it is something to do with the phone piece which I have. Waiting for Apple to come back to me after they reviewed the log files.
