Malware Warning?

I keep getting this warning [“VirtualToolboxSearch” will damage your computer. You should move it to the Trash] when I boot-up my new iMac (Retina 4K/21.5", 2019, Catalina). It's usually a different file that is identified in the warning; Siri can't find them and both CleanMyMac and Sentinel Pro report no virus being present. When I move the warning in he Trash, it usually pops right back up in a few minutes. How do I get rid of it?

Your problem is due to you installing worthless and potentially damaging apps. Mac OS is extremely secure and does not require nor does it benefit from any antivirus, cleaning or any other third party "maintenance" app. If simply left alone and kept up to date Mac OS will remain extremely secure, reliable and fast. When users begin introducing cleaning apps and antivirus apps Mac OS becomes slow and unstable.

My recommendation is to locate the uninstall instructions for CMM (considered malware by most experienced users on these forums) and also the worthless AV app(s) you have installed.

Good luck.

Same thing happened to me when I purchased my 21.5" iMac in Sept. It came with 16g of memory and 1TB SSD. I had the store transfer my data from my 2009 iMac. The first few days I had this same occurrence and questioned the Apple store about it. They said to pay no attention to it. It went away after a few days and did not return. I haven't seen it when I updated to 15.1 Catalina.
