Upgrade to Catalina.

I upgraded to Catalina and I am wondering if there is a way to go back to Mojave. I am not ready to upgrade my Microsoft just yet. Can I take Catalina off my MacBook Air and change back to Mojave? I need to be able to use my Microsoft package and it is not compatible with Catalina.

Hi BauJoy,

Let me add to what Barney said.

In order to downgrade to Mojave, you will have to erase your drive and then reinstall Mojave and then reinstall everything or restore from a Time Machine back up you created before upgrading to MacOS Catalina.

Microsoft does offer a single license as a option for a single device if you are interested. This might be easier than erasing your drive to reinstall MacOS Mojave and then reinstall your data.

I hope this helps.

Upgrade to Catalina.
