Voice Memos

Is there any way you can hide the Voice Memos so that when you open up your iPad no one can see that you are recording? With the previous Software Version you could not see the recording going.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem: When tapping the “Record” button within Voice Memos on an iPhone 12, and locking the device, anyone can tap on the screen, and pause/stop the recording. What I’m wondering is: Is there a way to lock the screen/device during recording, so that you have to unlock the device to stop the recording?
