Bluetooth Pairing with Amazon Kindle

Is it possible for my iPhone XS to pair with my Kindle Fire (5th Generation)?

I've tried sever times and the device is recognized (Sable’s Book), but it will not connect. However, the Kindle identifies and pairs with my phone.

This kinda sucks, because I do a lot on both devices. I have to email work to myself so that I can complete it while using the other device. I waste a lot of time doing this. It makes me consider leaving the apple family, because... 🤔 Much like racism (lol) I don’t like the fact that Apple tends to only support its kind when pairing.
