One AirPod Pro fell into water for 5 seconds, will it survive?

Entered the bathroom to brush my hair; and my left AirPod Pro literally fell out of my ear; violated the laws of physics and flew straight into the toilet for 5 seconds until I frantically fished it out. Survivable? Problematic for 30 seconds then seemed to return to normal. My palpitations have yet to subside.
