I found my old MacBook and am logging in with my recently changed password since I forgot the one that was associated with this old laptop. My name shows but it won’t recognize my password. I’ve rebooted as well. Any help is appreciated.

I read it, but since you changed it, and it wasn't working, I was trying to suggest possible other ways to reset the password to see if they worked.
