Apple Pencil 2 Constant Disconnection

The Apple Pencil 2 constantly disconnects and yes I have done all the quick fixes suggested, which become a PIA after dozens of times turning the IPad on and off and forgetting and reconnecting. Is Apple addressing the issue of connectivity?
