Apple Pencil not connecting to iPad

I have had my ipad for 6+ months and have not had any problems with the pencil but it has all of a sudden disconnected itself and will not reconnect to the ipad. Any suggestions?

Hello,

It sounds like your Apple Pencil's battery is failing. If it is only 6 months old then it is still under its 1 year warranty.

I suggest that you reach out to Apple for assistance.
