Apple TV on 3rd gen

Question

I can not seem to be able to get AppleTV+ on my 3rd Gen box. Cant seem find any posts on it either. So... help?

Are you sure its a 3rd gen Apple TV? See here: Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

If it is a 3rd gen, is its software fully updated to 7.4? See here: How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support

Apple TV+ doesn’t have a separate icon on the Home Screen.

Apple TV+ would be accessible through the Apple TV App, as a channel within that app.
