i don't want to keep being reminded to choose my memoji(s) on my iphone 6! how do i delete this option? i don't do emojis or memojis... ever!!
desperate!!
and actually that whole 'bar' above my keyboard in my iPhone6 is obsolete as far as i am concerned. would love to be able to delete the whole bar!

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you don’t want to see Memojis and Emojis on your iPhone. I’ll be happy to help.
To turn off Emojis, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards. From there, you can remove the Emoji keyboard.
Once you do that, open Messages and tap on a message thread. Slide the app drawer over until you see More. Tap on that and from there, you can tap edit and remove Memoji stickers from your Favorites. Take a look at this article for more info:

I’m glad to hear the original issue is resolved. As for the other issue, it sounds like you’re referring to Camera Effects. This cannot be removed but you should be able to hide the effects by tapping the Effects button. Take a look at the info under ‘Send a message with Camera Effects’ from this article for more info:

thanks so much for responding with help. actually i never had an emoji keyboard so that's that problem solved. however i could not slide the 'app drawer' in any direction (is the 'app drawer' the window space where one writes the message?). but in the meantime i'm not seeing memojis or emojis above my messages keyboard. so somehow i've gotten rid off that line of options. :o) where i AM still seeing that bar of options (Filters, Shapes, Text, Memoji Stickers, etc.) is when i use the phone from inside Messages and reverse the camera towards myself. i'd love to completely delete all Memojis and Emojis from within my iphone, but I guess that's not possible?
Thanks. Yes, tapping on the effects button did hide the effects option. i can't help thinking that all these various options should be add-ons or options rather than the default. but that's my personal opinion. simple is best! ;o) thanks for your help.
