Maximum RAM upgrade for 2019 Macbook Pro?

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019)

2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

My computer is pretty much new and cannot handle rendering videos in Final Cut Pro. The only thing I can think to do is upgrade RAM. So two questions:

1) What is the maximum RAM capacity that this computer can recognize and utilize?

2) Is there another way to improve performance so I can actually use Final Cut Pro?

Your RAM is fixed and maxed out—unless you have a new 16" MBP.

Both RAM & Storage are soldered to the logicboard there is no upgrade.

You can get a good look at your System config. for conflicts or issues, you can run this utility http://etrecheck.com

Sorry, you are mistaken.

The RAM is that computer can only be made larger at the moment of manufacture, and not in the field. The chips are soldered to the board for maximum reliability, and no slots are provided.

If that is not enough RAM you will need to convert that computer to CASH (by selling it) and use the cash to buy a computer that better meets your needs.

Many Video editors find that contention for a single drive is providing a bottleneck. The best setup is one drive for sources, one drive for destinations, one drive for scratch if needed, and a separate Boot/System/Applications/Paging drive.
