It's like back to the future: Before I had a mouse, I used keystrokes...now this poorly designed utility requires Command-Shift-4! Gab was a very useful utility that didn't require old-style steps. Can this be fixed????

Why not just run Screenshot directly from your /Applications/Utilities folder, or drag it to your Dock. It is Apple's idea of the Grab replacement. The keyboard shortcut for Screenshot is shift+command+5.
