Purchasing an iPhone from another country

The iPhone does not have an international warranty. For warranty, or after warranty service, the phone would have to be returned to the US.

If you purchase an unlocked iPhone, directly from Apple, unlocking after will not be required.

There is no international warranty. There is no option to purchase an “international warranty”.

As always, it is best to purchase the device in the region where it would be used.
