compromise of account

I have been contacted by phone messages, several times, telling me that my Apple account has been compromised. Is this for real or is it a scam?

iCloud account breach I have been receiving robot voice messages from a phone number named Apple Inc. The message says my iCloud account has been breached and not to use it. Is this a valid message or a scam?

Apple will never call you unless you called them and asked for a call back.
