Mojave OS Finder and no image preview
Hi All,
I recently upgraded to Mojave and now can not see image previews within Finder. Can this great feature be turned back on? How?
Thanks.

Hi There. Thanks for info. The *.jpg was already set to Preview.
What I am trying to see again is within Finder. I don't see in the Finder view options any more is the horizontal scrolling feature that showed thumbnails of all the *.jpg and other such photo and pdf images. This allowed you to see the image without having to open another application. Can I get that feature back within Finder?
Thanks.
Can you not make a change in the View options?
How about the Shift Command P short cut?

Did you install any application that has usurped the Open With application default from Apple's Preview? Click on an arbitrary image, and press command+I to open a Get Info panel. In the Open With section, if it is not Preview, set it to Preview, and click through the Change All… button. This should restore Finder image icon views and Quick Look to your images.

I see now that Mojave changed the Finder View of "Cover Flow" to "Gallery". I can no longer quickly scroll through my pictures, and can't change the size of the thumbnail to larger than the tiny picture along the bottom. Sorry, I don't like this "improvement".
Image previews should exist no matter what view you are in. Has this issue persisted even after your computer has restarted? Also, you can use force click if your computer supports it to preview individual files.
Try changing the size of your Finder window or column width within the Finder.

With finder in the top left go to view>show view options and make sure you have the "show icon preview" selected.
