Is an iPad 32 gb versus iPad mini 64 gb.

I am intending to buy an iPad 7, or an iPad Mini 5.

The trouble is that all the special offers are for 32 gb iPads, and as I already have an iPhone with 32gb of storage capacity, I feel that a 32 gb iPad 7 would be rather limited.

I can't find any discussions about this. The discussions I find on the web are all about other factors. Now, the 128 gb iPad costs considerably more than a basic iPad, but the iPad Mini 5 which appeals to me comes with 64 gb of storage on the basic model. I also live in a very small room where space is severely limited and my desk hasn't got much space on it. I've already got a 27 inch monitor on my small desk together with my Mac Mini, and I'd like to fit my iPad beside it. The iPad Mini 5 seems to be a better choice as it actually costs less than the 128 gb iPad 7. Not much less, but about €30 euro less, here in Italy.

128 gb is also overkill for an iPad I think, whereas 64 gb would be perfect, I believe. I'd just like somebody else's advice in this. Is an iPad mini 5 large enough for most uses ? I am a musician and I wish to use an app to control my Roland BK arranger keyboard. The app is called Roland BK Partner.

I'd also like to use music notation apps from other sources. Is a 7.9 inch screen too small to effectively compose notated music ?

When I look at full sized iPads that people who I know have, they seem to be too large and cumbersome, and they are a bit too visible according to me.

I am a bit clumsy myself and caring a 10.2 inch iPad around might be a problem for me, and also I live in a protected residence together with lots of other people like me, and I don't want to go around displaying my relative "wealth". I don't want to provoke envy, and I was thinking that an iPad mini would be less intrusive, and it wouldn't irritate the other people as I would simply explain that it is a tablet that costs less as it is smaller than the normal tablets. They wouldn't know the truth I think. I don't want to provoke envy or jealousy in anybody.

If somebody could help me in this dilemma then I'd be grateful. The thing is should I go for an iPad 7 32 gb, or should I go for the iPad mini 5 ?

I may just go to an Apple Store in the centre of the nearest large town and visually compare the iPad and the iPad mini. It's probably the best bet.

I'd like to play a flight simulator game, and a car racing game, with the iPad. I've read that the iPad mini 5 is more powerful and can do games better. How much difference is there ?

And lastly, to repeat can somebody tell me the truth of whether 32 gb of storage is enough on an iPad or not ?
