No cell service after update

Updated iPhone 7 and now no cell service. Went to Verizon and Was told there is a software glitch with the update . Is this true ?

This is true! iPhone 7s do have this glitch. I had it myself. To fix it you need to take it into the apple store with a Genius Bar appointment they will fix it for free and they also replace the battery and front camera also for free. It takes a week but you resave a loner phone.
