Quit Idle Apps

Hello,

MacOS doesn't quit apps when closing the last window of the app. I don't like this. So is there any app out there that will quit idle apps that are sitting in my dock with no windows open? Besides Quitter. Quitter only allows you to app a certain amount of apps.

Thanks for any help.

I’ll look into it, but my experience with using a Mac when coming from Windows is you just have to get used to pressing Command+Q instead of closing windows if you’re done with an app. You can also quickly quit an app by bringing up the app switcher by pressing Command+Tab, then while continuing to hold Command, press tab until the selector is over the app you want to quit, then press Q.
