How to prevent iPad Pro 2018's battery from emptying too quickly

Hello,

I have a 2018 iPad Pro and I feel that the battery is being emptied very quickly without intensive use of the device.

I was wondering if someone could provide me any suggestions regarding which settings to optimize on this device in order to gain some battery life.

I have adjusted the screen contrast already but I am sure there are other parameters I haven't thought about that are responsible for the short life of the battery.
