Empty trash mailbox in email on iPhone 11 ProMax

There is mail from 2014 in my gmail trash folder (mailbox). How do I get rid of it, besides just deleting one at a time?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! I understand that you have a question about deleting emails from your trash folder. I'm happy to help you find some information.

  1. Open Mail and go to your Trash.
  2. Tap Edit in the upper-right corner, then tap Select All.
  3. Tap Trash or Archive. If you only see Archive, touch and hold Archive to see other options like Trash Selected Messages.
