apple id has not been used in i tunes store does not allow a log in

how do I fix this log in problem ?

Have you verified your payment information?


Apple ID payment information - change


If necessary, contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.
