GarageBand Bass Help

Hello!

I am trying to use the bass in GarageBand on my ipad to make a song. Is there a way I can hook my iPad up to my computer to make the bass music. Or can I transfer the sound files over to my studio software. Or is there a way to make the bass in say audacity or other recording studio software? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!!
