what version of Mac OS do you need for HomePod Stereo

I cannot get my HomePod speaks to create Stereo.

I have macOS Mojave Version 110.14.6 on my iMac 27".

Mojave (10.14) should work

You can only play to stereo Homepods from iTunes on a Mac. Other Mac apps just see them as separate Airplay devices.

iPhones and iPads will play to stereo Homepods.
