I purchased the AirPod pros and also had an allergic reaction to the silicone tips. I definitely would recommend that if anyone experiences itching they stop using this as it may be that there is an allergy to the tips. Follow up with a dr if unsure to avoid an ear infection.

Thx Nivrot. I have tried to add a summary of what we have learned since it is just endless threads of the same issues and failed resolution attempts repeated; it's so hard on anyone new here to dig through it all and understand that nothing has worked.

I do think I should add more of the does "not" work in it, and I will attempt to do that next time. There is such a debate over some of the items; I didn't want to turn it into a war among fellow sufferers. However, we should show more of the many tests that have failed even if they are anecdotal.

I forgot about the duct-tape! LOL

I tried some third party tips, foam silicones etc without success. I thought maybe it’s the plastic material so I tried putting a masking tape without covering the sensors, it help a little but still itching but not the same without. And then I ordered a silicone cover for the airpods which advertised as non slip. It arrived 2 days ago. In my observation the product seems solved my issue. I even put the original tips now without any problem.
