Mac Book Air Camera

I got a brand new Mac Book Air on the first of the month. I have been playing around with the machine to get used to it and its new features compared to my last MacBook. I tested the FaceTime HD and found the quality to be beyond terrible! I don't know if this is just mine or this is across the board.

FaceTime Camera I just got a MackBook Pro 13-inch 2020 M1 barely 2 weeks ago and I noticed that the FaceTime Camera is blurry and grainy - no matter what app I use it with (Phone Booth, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, you name it). I have seen similar issues reported with current MackBook Air machines but nothing about the model I have. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any advice to fix it?

Mac air camera Just bought a Mac air book. Really disappointed with the camera and video. I have a iPhone and iPad and also a Toshiba for work. All have great cameras. I was hoping to start using the Mac for meetings and video chat but the picture quality is so poor. Grainy and looks like something from the 90s. I don’t understand why this is so poor compared to other devices I use.

Why is my camera on my New Macbook Pro Bad? I just bought my new MacBook Pro and everything is perfect, except the camera, when I facetime someone the quality is superrrr, SUPER bad and blurry. What can I do to fix it?

Thats normal. The new mbas all have a lower quality camera.
