Shift icon in the corner of the screen

I was opening my iPad Pro and then there was a shift icon about the size of an app and I can’t get rid of it at all. I’ve tried to delete it like an app. It won’t work. Although, whenever I type something, I shows up an icon next to it. Like if I click command, the command symbol will show next to it. I was thinking it may have to do with keyboard settings.

Hello,

This is due to you enabling the feature "Sticky Keys". You can manage this setting in Settings > Accessibility.
