Which version of OSX does the current 27” iMac ship with

Hi, I’m about to buy a new iMac exclusively for audio production, but a lot of plugins are still not compatible with Catalina so I’d prefer to use Mojave for the time being. I’ve read conflicting reports on what OS new iMacs ship with, can anybody confirm as of 28/11/19?

Lurkums is correct. 2019 iMacs come with macOS Catalina.

All new Macs ship with the current version of OS X. I suggest you delay your purchase until sufficient plugins are verifiably upgraded or you identify alternatives you can use
