Installing apps from internet

I've just got a new MacBook and obviously being new it's got the latest software update, but when I try to download Skygo it comes up with the message

“SkyGoInstaller” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

Anyone had a similar problem with downloading Skygo, or had the same message with a different app and managed to fix it? or know how I can fix it?

Any app that isn't code signed will display this message. But that doesn't automatically mean it's dangerous.

To open such apps, right click on the item and choose Open.
