my ipad is completely dead and wont charge
I own and iPad air. two days ago, my iPad had completely died, so i put it to charge. i wouldn't be home so i thought that it would probably be charged by the time i got back. I came home, and it still hadn't charged. the battery logo kept flashing and the apple logo kept flashing as well. the battery logo showed that the iPad was charging so i know that its not a problem with the charger. I've been searching the internet and i found people who had similar problems that had been solved by some solution in the comments. I tried charging it in a wall socket, i tried forcing it to reboot by pressing the sleep/wake button and pressing the home button at the same time. None of those worked so i tried restarting my iPad by connecting it to iTunes. I followed the iTunes instructions and put the iPad to charge after the update + restoration. i assumed that ti would probably start charging normally, however it still hasn't. it's been two hours since i did the iTunes thing and it still keeps doing the same thing (flashing the battery and apple logo) over and over again. I will probably have to take it to an apple store to get it fixed but i wanted to know if there was something else i could try before that.
