Try replacing the Apple TV's remote control's battery. Note that you would need to be connected to the Internet to see Apps' purchases.

If the above does not work...

here are a few troubleshooting tips:

  • Unplug the Apple TV, wait a few, and then try this all once more.


  • Is Your Apple TV somewhat hot, in temperature? If so, let it sit, and place it on a laptop cooler upon usage.


  • Try replacing the Apple TV's remote control's battery


  • As a last resort, you could always try another Apple TV you have. If the other once works, then the issue is obviously with this Apple TV itself. So, perhaps it is time for a new Apple TV?


  • You have a one-year out-of-the box limited-warranty. So, if this Apple TV is a faulty device, and is less than one-year old, contact Apple, and see where things can go from there, in terms of getting it replaced, if an applicable option.
