Airplay will not work from my Macbook Pro but screen mirror will on Samsung SmartTV

I have two Samsung TVs with Airplay, when Quicktime tries to connect, it asks for the passcode then sits on the "AIRPLAY" screen without connecting, both do the same thing. I can however screen mirror fine. The iPads & iPhones airplay just fine. Any suggestions?
