deleted hard drive can i retrieve it through my imac

I deleted my hard drive completely on my mac book air. i am able to reach the internet but it freezes there. can I some how use my iMac to restore it?

Did you make a Time Machine backup prior to deleting your MacBook Air's system drive? If so, you can use Restore Mode to re-install macOS, and then, restore the backup.
